Stocking Stuffers 2019 part 2

Stocking Stuffers are so much fun, and while Santa finds it easy to fill kids socks, here's a little help for grown up's who await surprises on Christmas morn.

Sizable slingshot complete with 15 multicolored felted balls (choose which you want) for hours of no-pain fun. Only $8.25 from HandCraftedBuffalo

Snapping cord organizer straps, small, leather and durable, with holes for the cord to secure it better than just a wrap around. Choose from several non-toxic colors. Only $3.21 per from Exsect.

Lifting Straps from Gadget Lab had a compelling video showing people lifting everything from a few light Amazon boxes at once to hefty siding or furniture. Their site claims it encourages proper body mechanics and leverage to make lifting easier. I can't speak to it, but I'm ordering some to try it! They still have some discount deals going on like buy one get it 50% off, buy 2 get free shipping for $18.99 each, buy 3 and get an additional strap free etc...  Adjusts from 3 to 6' long, 6" W with a 330 pound load capacity.

Kurt Adler is the high end Christmas decor maker and now you can get a six pack of Corona to grace your evergreens! (CE2161)  Least expensive on AMAZON. For $11.66

Felt and boiled wool are everywhere, and these very tasteful Wine-O's stem identifiers from graf lantz are a very classy little give or get gift. Perfect for host/hostess gifts or the sock of your favorite wine fan. $19 for a dozen, they come in two color combos. The below is called Rainbow. There's also an autumn. Google around for sets of six in octagonal shapes.

While we're on felt, UniqueBoutique makes great felted wallets, and in cool colors. Trouble is, they're hard to find in singles. I found a Gray one on ToyBoxTech for only $3.95.

Novelties and Beyond carries a 4 pack in brown, a Black 4 pack or Teal 4 pack for $13.60 total (not a bad price to get one and donate the rest!). Teal is my fave.  You can find some gently used on Poshmark.

LOVE THIS. I have one and it works perfectly. This is a solar powered, motion sensor light. No muss no fuss, just nail it up and it works. A button on the back allows you to set it on super bright or less bright. Great near your garbage cans, along a fence or for me, areas where people park along the side of my house with no real light in these dark winter months- until now!  The folks who walk their dogs in the neighborhood appreciate that it lights a good portion of their way as they pass that was pitch black before. Great too for catching animals in your garden! From Atomic Beam ON SALE as of publishing for $14.99 (usually $19.99).

The Contigo AutoSpout Water Bottle is the best I have found in a non-thermal. Easy to drink from - you don't need to tilt the bottle up which is great for when you're driving as it doesn't block your sight. Fits in a standard car cup holder. It has a lock to prevent spills and it has a sturdy carabiner function in the handle --snap it on your belt loop or back pack for hands free activity. In 20, 24 or 32 oz, and many colors. Both the stainless and plastic models are BPA free. Also comes in glass.

I've used these decorative paper leaves for decades under candles or down the center of a Fall or Winter table, but they make a fantastic presentation year round when put under cheeses on a wood cutting board or serving platter - and may even protect against surface cuts. Transforms the table. The ones I like are made by EuroQuest but they're hard to find in stock. However, you can look at what I did hunt down. Find them at Cookshop Plus for $15.

Sur La Table carries a set of 20 different sizes and shapes for $13.00. Find 20 big leaves in a variety of colorings, all the same size at Kitchen Kapers for $14.99. Crate and Barrel carries a set that includes two less realistic leaf shapes, but also a mock-slice of wood, $14 for a set of 12.
Find a package of 10 large 12x 8 wood cuts on Amazon for $17.00.

This is the absolute BEST quick dry top coat out there. Used to be in drug stores but I haven't seen it for a few years. But it's available on Amazon. Read the small print so you are not buying a salon size 1.7 fl oz or  a 4 pack. You're looking for the .05 fl oz size (regular nail polish bottle) for about $7 each (thought somehow this link offers a 2 pack for $8)!

Swiss Army move over! There are several of these multi-use tools that fold into nothing online -- and once you look on Amazon and scroll down you will see a bunch of like-items suggested. Pick one that best suits your needs. If you're boggled, this is a fine one: the Gerber Diesel Multi-Plier, with 15 tools. Industrial strength components which are larger and stronger, weighing only 8.6 oz. Black for $54 and stainless for $59.  For $10.50 you can get a stretch material case and a rotating belt clip to go with it.

Have a survivalist on your list? Or one that lives where electricity often goes out? This LED bulb  has an internal battery that charges all the time. Use it like a normal bulb but when the lights go out, this one stays on. If there is an emergency you can prepare to stay or leave far more easily. They even claim there's a rebate by state, so click the green button at the bottom of the home page to see. 60 watt equivalent, giving up to 4 hours of light.. From Boundary. Depending on how many you buy, there are bulk discounts from $31-13 per bulb.
