Make 'Em Laugh: Give the Gift of Funny This Year

It's been quite a year. And boy do we need all the levity we can get. Here are some gifts that should bring a smile.

It's always fun to give an ornament to commemorate the year - and 2021 is turning out to be a doozie. I've seen a lot but The Fauci ornaments are my favorite:

Choose from a transparent circle capturing that famous moment. From Andez Press for $15.99

A 5" resin full figure by the king of quality ornaments, Just Adler for $14.95 on Amazon.

Or, if you want a little bling, this glass blown head and shoulders sports silver hair and glitter in his tie and stethoscope which I found for $10 less than anywhere else on Paper Source for $14.96 - and they do have Black Friday discounts going on to apply.

Be the one that makes the house die laughing, and inevitably break out into wacky dancing for 30 seconds to 5 different songs with the 30 Second Dance Party Button.   I suggest getting one with the chain so it will hang around your (or the recipients) neck. Just push the button and the music starts complete with the button blinking in time to enhance the mini dance party effect. Runs about $19 each but there are discounts for multiples. The chain if bought separately is $5.99.

TIP: Right now for Black Friday weekend (probably thru Monday) use code HOLLADAY to get 25% off Limited Edition red Holiday Buttons. If you buy the ones with the chain (chain can rebought separately for $5.99) use code LEVELMEUP for 10% off.

If you need to wear a mask, make an entrance with this Santa beard and 'stache. Yes, it's a real mask (no filter or pockets for them) but it can be worn over another for effect!

Get a set of 3 masks PLUS good sized Santa hats by SATINOIR for $19 on Amazon. The same set for 2 is HERE.

If you Google Santa beard masks, you will find them in lots of combinations: the masks in adult or kids sizes, singles or multiples, and all are very reasonably priced. Cotton/poly blend. I ordered two!

Since the holidays aren't all about things, why not gather around the TV with some great snacks and pepper your holiday flicks with clean stand up comedy shows? DEFINITELY try out Sebastian Maniscalo, who is hilarious and does it without getting into politics or F-bombs. Some of his who's on Netflix are: What's Wrong with People, Why Would You Do That and Stay Hungry.

Nate Bargatze is really laid back and clean. His reviews call him the nicest man in stand up most relaxing  He has a few specials on Netflix, The Greatest Average American, and The Tenessee Kid

And who knew Steve Martin and Martin shorts have been BFF's for 30 years? They've got a special on Netflix called An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life and it's great.

Martin Short is incredibly energetic delivering clean zingers, and Steve Martin shows his incredible talent on the banjo. They do a great job of mixing it up so you're not just seeing them stand center stage at a mic. And you WILL laugh.

Gathering the family around one of the above, or another comedy show or movie and having everyone sharing laughs puts the focus on what's important and good - a great way to make it among the best holiday memories ever.

More gifts that are fun, about togetherness, are DIY or cost nothing to come in addition to the stuff" posts to come.
