Gifts for Those with Dementia or Alzheimers

One of my most popular posts ever was the one that made suggestions for giving to a loved one with dementia. Having had both parents suffer from this in different ways over many years, I know first hand how difficult it can be at gift giving time. Even the rustle of paper, or if it's too shiny, can be distressing. Or a box can be put on their lap and they do not know what to do with it anymore. Yet they do need things.
