If she doesn't have one, it's time. In these days when we bemoan cell radiation and/or the blue light from our various screens, and how that light keeps us from sleeping well...  The Kindle Paperwhite is a welcome wonder. Don't know how Dior does it but their quality is superb. Anything by them will make her feel super special. This is something affordable: Dior Abricot. Touted as a base coat, you can see and feel the quality instantly. The bottle cap is smoother, and has beautiful shape. The polish is rich and thick but goes on easily and smooths out any ridges to prep your nails for color -BUT I think it's da bomb just as it is. Though a light apricot color in the bottle, it goes on almost clear. It's dense, quick drying, shiny and looks like a professional manicure in itself. As we sit in our homes it can bring a little bright spot and says 100% luxury. And she deserves it. $28 at Macys.
Is she Homesick? Send her a candle that claims to capture the scents of that area! Getting a candle with the name of the place they are missing on it with the label of Home anything will make them marvel at your  thoughtfulness. Check out HOMESICK and find city, state and even country names, as well as things like Beach House, Book Group and Grandma's Kitchen. From $34.

It's a hellalotta cabbage for this but it's from the famed Barefoot Dreams. Nothing brings more comfort than the coziest blanket or sweater... and 'tis the season, even if you live in warmer climes. A Cozy Chic Topanga ($109) throw for outdoor cocktails when the sun goes down, or to curl up for a great binge watch would be most welcome.

Or, the blanket below, which comes in several colors. I like the navy best. $147 at Barefoot DreamsCheck out the entire site if robes, slippers or sweaters are more her style, and there's a 25% off page as of this publication. TIP: A little of this is the thrill of having the name brand, but if it's too pricey, just take the idea and get one of the lush ones at Marshalls, TJX, Kohls, etc. for a fraction of the cost.

Ooooh look at these - soft fleece lined leggings. They're waterproof, windproof and claim to protect in temps of -49 Farenheit. I find that hard to believe and who knows if you'd roast once inside but they look awesome and I'm may order some! TIP:  It's recommended that you buy one size up because it's thicker inside.  In black or Grey From GIVROS ON SALE for $39.99.

This stuff works!!  Since many can't go for glycolic or fruit acid facials right now, this is one of the next best things. Neo-Cleanse is a clear gel you put on a freshly washed face that begins a light tingle. Leave it on for a few minutes, then wipe off with a wet cloth. I have the most sensitive skin and have no problem with this. There are no sulfites, dyes or fragrances. My skin comes out glowing! Find it on Dermstore for $38, but it's also on MYHEALTHMARKET, a site I don't know, for $27.

I read this tested for the top spot. The Garmin 345 Forerunner GPS watch syncs with streaming music (like Spotify) and does advanced running dynamics, including ground contact time balance, stride length, vertical ratio and more (when used with Running Dynamics Pod or HRM Run or HRM Tri monitors --sold separately).  BONUS: Safety and tracking features include incident detection (during select activities) which sends her real-time location to emergency contacts through paired compatible smartphone. That's worth it!  Shop Garmin on sale for $249.

OR... There's the newest FITBIT — The Versa 3 —which builds on the excellence of the Fit Bit's sleep and fitness record, then adds all the capabilities of a smart watch. It also allows chats and notifications with Alexa and Google Home. On sale for $199 from FITBIT.

These days, we're reviving so many old-school habits, how wonderful would it be to write (and receive) notes again? It's an additional way to stay in touch when we can’t as easily visit or travel, supports our USPS, and fills loved ones mailboxes with something other than bills! #Winning.

Smythson of Bond Street is really special. This UK company, in business since 1887, makes top notch products. I give these color-bordered white laid, watermarked cards with matching tissue lined envelopes. They are beyond elegant.  $35 for a box of 10. Comes in navy, silver, gold, red and light blue.

TIP: Order pretty stamps, sealing wax and a stamp, a fountain pen or stickers to give with it!!

Thymes, the Rolls Royce of all things scented, has choices GAL-ore. Start on the home page, hover over the word COLLECTIONS and you'll see the categories of scents in little round pictures. You can't miss giving Frasier Fir candles or diffusers - on my TOP GIFTS list for years! It's THE absolute most realistic fresh cut Christmas tree/wreath scent on the market. Perfect for this time of year.

If she likes florals, try their Kimono Rose collection - from bubble bath to soap to body lotion. All their Citrus scents are great, and usually are tolerable for those sensitive to perfumes and heavy scents. For a Zen, clean atmosphere, Eucalyptus Candles are my pick. The box, the graphics and containers all go the extra mile. This definitely won't be giving "just a candle" or "just some lotion."  TIP: As of this publication, get 20% off orders of $100.
