Gifts For Him 2020

They say men can be hard to buy for, but there are some pretty cool gifts for him on this post - and even more from past posts (link at the bottom).

The Electrohome Kingston 7-in-1 Vintage Stereo System is cool looking, but it's all about what this does. This is a Record Player with 3-Speed Turntable, an AM/FM Radio and a CD player, with both Bluetooth and Aux in, RCA/Headphone Out, Vinyl/CD to MP3 Recording & USB Playback.  WOW. Comes in three colors - this cherry, a more traditional looking walnut and black. Three colors and price varied with them, from $169 -$249. On Amazon.

TIP: There are others like this, which you will see whether you Google this or scroll down on the Amazon page. Prepare to get lost in a rabbit hole... I've read the reviews for this one - you should too - and many say this is much better sound quality than some of the other brands. This does not play cassettes... which I would like, but this is the one I felt struck the right note (actually, no pun intended).

Man and Fire. They've had a relationship since the dawn of time. And yet, this is something so awesome I bought for myself. It folds down to NOTHING and can be a small container for a fire in your yard, on the beach, or if you're camping. Add the stacking tray frame and you can cook over it. And it comes with a flint to help start the fire in a pinch. ON SALE right now for $134 (down from $179) at Wolf and Grizzly. Like this but want to spend a little less? Click on their Products Link as you can buy items separately and reduce the overall cost.

Everything in the campfire trio folds down to the below - and consolidate to fit into the black bags.

Speaking of fire... these LED lights below mimic gas flames and are pretty interesting. And you can dial in 3 flame sizes. Don't know how much light they throw off but what I've ordered from this company was solid.  Reviews all give them 5 stars. From Boundery. Prices reduce with the number you buy. Starts at $29.95 for one, but you can get 2 for $19,98 ea, or 4 for $12.49 ea or an 8 pack for $11.24 each. And it is practical but they offer them in BLUE too which might be just right for the guy on your list. The Blue ones are pretty cool too!

Is your guy a cigar smoker? We know whiskey and stogies go together, and I guess Corksicle's answer to that was this... Part rocks glass, part cigar rest, Cigar Glass lets you hold your drink and cigar in the same hand at the same time without all the awkward finger fumbling. ON SALE at time of publication for $14.21 from $18.95

Here's a place to charge his phone, place all his stuff and feel kinda special while he's doing it. The 11" x 6" CATCH:3 combines multi-coil, single device wireless technology within the valet tray.  ON SALE from Courant for $122 down from $175. And they have FREE monograming in silver or gold foil. Good for nightstand or at the front door.

If you don't know about Lifetime, you should! They make commercial grade utility items like coolers, folding tables and chairs, sheds, outdoor furniture and sports items for good prices. For example - their coolers are comparable to YETI (I've see dozens of videos where guys test and compare them) but are easily half the cost. There are several things I'd pick ie: their 4' fillet table which is great on fishing trips but doubles as an outdoor mini-sink for your back yard or when camping. There's the wall mounted work table, also great - but both are currently sold out. You may find them from other stores by Googling for them or could give him the photo in a wrapped box and say it's coming in January.

So how about the below 4' tail gating table for $99?  It has a steel frame with an all weather finish and a heavy duty side rack perfect for holding a grill. And of course, this can slip into your truck, SUV or Jeep to have picnics on a day trip or be part of your camper van's outdoor patio area.

Beards are back - and their sizes and shapes are many. Shape being the operative word. Especially with the new norm of wearing masks. If you guys' is unruly - or if he's really into shaping and grooming around it, this little tool may be a very welcome gift. Measures sideburns, neckline and goatees too, and he can try it for 90 days and return it if he doesn't like it!  The Beard Shaper/Styling tool for $12.99 from Beard Field.

TIP: Pair this with some of their other products, like beard oil or balm, specialized shampoo and moisturizers, or beard combs and brushes if you'd like to round out the gift!

These days doctors are prescribing R&R... so how about this Kickback Rocker? Like any folding beach or field chair (with attendant drink and phone holder) this one literally ROCKS back. so he can really unwind.

When he's ready to go, it collpses into nothing, and is carried by the durable shoulder strap. Powder-coated steel frame holds up to 250 lbs. Choose from several colors, ranging from $49-65 on Amazon

Yeah Baby. Saxx Underwear tout something kinda funny but probably what should be in all mens undergarments below-the-belt.  They've trademarked it as the BallPark Pouch.

They describe it as this "A 3D hammock-shaped pouch designed to keep everything in place. Thanks to mesh panels and Flat Out Seams™, the BallPark Pouch™ prevents skin-against-skin friction and ensures chafe-free support."

It's hard to tell if everything on the site uses it but CLICK HERE for my search for items using it. TIP: Scroll though your choice to the bottom of the page to be sure they say it uses the Ball Park design.  They have crazy colors and patterns but you can find solids too.Not sure if guys sensitive to wanting only cotton would like this fabric but I think it 's worth it to see if this 3D hammock makes them suddenly converts! This midnight blue boxer brief on sale for $22.

This is too amazing not to post - but you need to pre-order it and it looks like it might come from Great Britain. Introducing The Goose, an all-in-one motorcycle camping system designed for bikers, by bikers! It looks like a normal camp roll but when unfolded it is made up of a canvas tent, thick foam mattress and sleeping bag. The cover that wraps it up doubles as a blanket to sit on when not in use.  One side of the tent attached sot the bike and keeps the seat dry in the process.

It has 2 doors and 2 windows with a fly screen, for max adaptability in any weather. The maker's claim: "We use a 420g heavy duty rip stop canvas. This material is waterproof, extremely breathable and hard wearing. The durability of canvas means that if treated right this tent will last a lifetime. "  It's 310 GBP so that's about $413 USD Pre-order now to have shipped in mid- December. From Wingman of the Road.
