Matching family pajamas, including your pets, is a great way to bring everyone together and start the holidays with a laugh. We see them this time of year, though they are fun all year round. Whether this is your long held tradition, or you want to give it a go for the first time, below are just a few quality makers.
Hanna Anderson makes theirs from organic cotton and flat seams for ultimate comfort. You select one family member at a time (including PETS!), choose their size and build it to your bundle - then the price appears.
They have sets of Superheroes, Halloween, Fall, space, dinosaurs, penguins, their famous striped sets, and many more, besides holiday themes like the the Grinch, Peanuts, plaids, deer. and ornaments. This Elf on a Shelf set goes over big in many households.
How about this Hanukkah set plus something for your pup!
Check out the entire Hanna Anderson Family collection, or peruse the site for other items. TIP: They give you 20% off your order if you join the mailing list but as of this
publication, they also feature some items at 30-50% off.
Burts Bees family sets are made from organic cotton, natch. Their tasteful designs range from the modern holiday trees (shown) to reindeer, cookies and mile, and more traditional stripes and plaids (including a really nice blue for Hanukkah), all with pet bandanas to match. Get 10% off your first purchase when you sign up to their mailing list.
Pajamagram has a plethora of choices, also including pets, starting at $24.99. Each fabric or theme choice has clear photos of each size and they come very well packaged. They have the lowest prices if you will be wearing them only once this might be the way to go -
but order early.
This appealing green
Heritage Plaid seem to be an all round people-pleaser.
Pajamas being their specialty, they have the largest selection I've found for patterns, characters (like Disney, Peanuts, etc), goofy and traditional. Something for everyone. Do your reading - check the fabric content (think flannel is your best bet for comfort and fit). In reading the comments, you'll find a mix of folks saying tops were big or things shrunk. If you are concerned about that, it's better to go with some of the cotton ones mentioned above.
There is also this sign if you scroll down on each page to check out. They have many family photos submitted on each page, so they all must have taken them up on the offer!
Also, at time of this publication, they are offering FREE Pet PJs with Matching Adult PJ Order. Use code PETJAMMIES at checkout.
Sleepyheads is new to me but they offer also offer a really wide variety of matching PJ sets of all styles. And you can mix and match a little as well. So someone can get theirs with red cuffs when another prefers white, and there may be a nightgown available instead of just pants and top. And yes, they do have full hoodies to footsie one pieces! Some even offer a piece to dress a favorite doll as well as your dog or cat. Price points and fabrics are 100% cotton or flannel. Definitely worth checking it ALL out.
TIP: As of publication, Get is 15% off store wide with code 150FF21
Lastly, there's always the great idea of matching robes, which can be used all year round. My first go to is The Company Store for it's excellent quality. These can also be monogrammed (order EARLY, and add 7 extra business days). From $50 + for adults and kids of course cost less. Choose terry, fleece, or my choice, these durable, absorbent, soft Turkish Cotton robes. And right now... most are 40% off!
Some might love the natural nature of linen. These, from Pottery Barn, come in a trio of subtle hues and are fair trade sourced. $99 each, and able to be monogrammed. Good for anytime, anywhere but especially if they live in a warmer climate.
TIP: Read comments (weed out the extremes on either end if there are few of them) for any consistent comments about fit or feel. And check the fabric to see if it works for you. Prices can reflect things like feel, sizing and longevity-- but not always. And this is something most people use once a year so that may not matter!
Most importantly, this is a fun way to increase togetherness and make things merrier. Whether it's just for one year or it starts a new tradition, remember to take a group picture!
